The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

The receptionists Pearl Rice, Joanne Martin, Paula King and Ciara Pickering will triage telephone calls, book treatment room/Practice Nurse appointments, take requests for visits, give you results of tests when appropriate and process new patient registrations.   They also process prescription requests on the Prescription line and deal with Urgent requests.

They will answer your queries and offer help and assistance at all times.  

Please remember, they may ask for information regarding your condition.   Patient confidentiality is maintained at the highest level by all staff.  

The Surgery has a Zero Tolerance Policy and Social Media Policy in place.  Any verbal or aggressive behaviour towards any of the Healthcare staff or Social Media abuse will be taken seriously.
